Company Background
Hex Valley Spring Water was started by De Villiers Graaff in 1987. In 2001 the company merged with Cape Dew Spring Water owned by Mr Pieter Reyneke. In 2003 Mr Greg Holtman acquired a 50% share in the company. The new company, Hex Valley Spring Water (Pty) Ltd now owns the land on which the spring is situated.

South Africa’s modern bottling industry is 14 years old, with between 80 and 100 bottlers of water producing more than 190 million litres a year and generating over a billion rand in turnover. Hex Valley Spring Water recognises that the bottled water industry’s market is growing rapidly and wishes to position itself strategically to increase its current share of the market.
Currently distribution is largely limited to the licensed liquor trade and restaurants in South Africa. Hex Valley Spring Water recently signed an agreement with NMK to supply the National Liquor Channel.
Hex Valley Spring Water meets the highest standards set by The South African National Bottled Water Association (SANBWA), with total dissolved solids (TDS) of 10.
